South Londonderry Township will receive bids for the Killinger Creek Stream Restoration Project. The work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 1,770 linear feet of streambank stabilization and riparian plantings. BASE BID 1. Mobilization/Demobilization, including bonds and insurances (1 LS) 2. Streambank and in-stream stabilization, complete in-place (1 LS) 3. Erosion and sedimentation controls, complete in-place (1 LS) 4. Final stabilization including seeding and mulching, complete in-place (1 LS) 5. Riparian buffer plantings, deciduous trees, complete in-place (186 EA) 6. Riparian buffer plantings, shrubs, complete in-place (62 EA) A certified check or bid bond for the amount of ten percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only those questions submitted online shall be considered. Questions received after 4:00 PM on January 25, 2024, regarding the project will not be acknowledged. This contract is subject to the following: the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Act conditions; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; the Non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; requirement of a non-collusion affidavit; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. South Londonderry Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids.
