Demolition, new construction and renovation of a municipal facility in Saint-Lambert, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Partial demolition and reconstruction of the owner's City Hall building. The scope of work will include the conservation of one or more masonry facades, demolition work and construction of a new structure. The project value is preliminary estimated to be as high as $13 million. TIMELINE: The awarded architectural consulting firm has submitted to the owner the report relating to the site inspection, data analysis, structural and architectural validations and including recommendations on the potential for reuse of the existing Saint-Lambert City Hall building located at 55 Argyle Avenue or its demolition and reconstruction. The submitted report is under review. No scope of work, budget or timelines of the project development are finalized at this time. The project will be followed if/when it proceeds to a design stage. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
