Partial demolition and reconstruction of the owner's City Hall building. The scope of work will include the conservation of one or more masonry facades, demolition work and construction of a new structure. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded a professional consulting firm for the provision of architectural services for site inspection, data analysis, structural and architectural validations with the aim of providing a recommendation on the potential for reuse of the existing Saint-Lambert City Hall building located at 55 Argyle Avenue of its demolition and reconstruction. An expertise from an architectural firm specializing in heritage would also be requested in January or February 2024. The City hopes to make a final decision in 2024. The deadlines for publication of subsequent calls for tenders and start of construction remain to be determined.
