On-Call Archaeological Consulting Services for City of Santa Barbaras Engineering Division. Project Duration 5 Years. The City of Santa Barbara's Public Works Department is requesting a Statement of Qualifications from qualified Archaeological Consulting firms (Consultants) to provide on-call archaeological consulting services for Water Resources and Streets projects. The selected Consultants will be placed on a short list of firms to provide cultural resources services on an "as-needed" basis, to be determined during the term of the contract. The City anticipates contracting with Consultants on an "on-call" basis for projects during a five-year term. The City may contract with one or more Consultants from this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The City will issue either task orders or requests for proposals for a specific project. Contracts will be awarded after the City reviews and selects from submitted proposals. The final scope and fee estimates will be negotiated according to the fee schedule established in the SOQ, prior to an authorization of a task order and notice to proceed.
