To provide construction contract management and inspection services (CMIT) for the San Ysidro Debris Basin Improvement Project (Project). The Project generally consists of modifying the existing San Ysidro Debris Basin by replacing the existing grouted rock embankment and 48-inch culvert with a new outlet structure and the construction of a stream simulation channel using rock bands, boulder clusters, and large woody debris. The successful Consultant must perform pre-construction services as well as construction management and observation during the course of construction. Work projected to start in May/June 2024 Start Date 5/20/2024. Final Invoice/End Date of Project Construction 06/30/2025. Question Deadline 02/14/2024 at 5:00 PM PT All RFP questions must be submitted via electronically. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, or to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the proposals, and to make an award on the basis of suitability, quality of service to be provided, and ability to perform the Requirements. Common reasons for rejection include but are not limited to: proposals that are conditional or incomplete, or that contain any alteration of form or other irregularities of any kind; proposals with defects or irregularities constituting material deviations from the submittal requirements; or failure to follow the prescribed format or deadlines. The District also reserves the right to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Project Duration 120 working days
