Renovation of a multi-residential development in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Housing Authority of the City of Vancouver (VHA), on behalf of the Esther Cougar Rehab LLLP, is issuing this request for proposals with the intention of awarding a contract for the purchase and installation of a security system for our Cougar Creek Apartments property, in accordance with RCW 39.26. A Contract may be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The VHA reserves the right to amend and modify this request for proposals at any time. SCOPE OF WORK Please note that this work will be performed in conjunction with a larger property-wide renovation and the awarded proposer will be required to collaborate and coordinate with the Prime GC. This will include providing information and instruction about camera and FOB access infrastructure needs and locations to prepare for installation. Additionally, the awarded proposer will plan the project schedule and delineate the division of work between the Prime GC and awarded proposer. Prime GC, in collaboration with the awarded proposer, will determine the best approach and may install the required infrastructure (electrical and low voltage) in advance of the camera and FOB access installation. The scope of work includes: 1. Specifying and installing new wired or wireless keyed FOB entry system(s) at three clubhouse doors and the laundry room in Building 3 (total of 4 installations). These FOB systems(s) shall be remotely accessible and manageable from the property management of Willow Creek Apartments (across the street at 8500 NE Hazel Dell Ave), with a capacity for management to remotely record, monitor, and control individual access and access times. 2. Specifying the number and location of, and installing, cameras around the property to capture, in a clear image, faces, license plates, and/or the make and model of cars at the locations specified below. Feeds from security cameras will need to be transmitted to the property management office of Willow Creek Apartments. a. Basis of Design: Open-Eye Cameras. b. The key locations to capture include: i. Each of the clubhouse rooms, including the laundry room (3 rooms total). ii. Inside the laundry room at Building 3. iii. The Dog Park, Playground, and Patio Area. iv. Each of the Trash Enclosures (2 total). v. Each of the Parking Lots vi. Drive Aisle entry to property. vii. Mailboxes & Parcel Lockers Multiple areas captured by a single camera are acceptable and additional cameras may be included upon further review. Question Deadline 01/17/2024 at 5:00 PM PT
