Renovation of a water / sewer project in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project provides for the replacement of the electrical equipment, MCCs and panels in the City of Dunedin Wastewater Treatment Plant, inclusive of all equipment, materials, programming and work required for operational systems that are complete and fully tested. This project is for the work at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Control Panels and RTU's at the City's Lift Stations as well as work required for the lift station SCADA housed at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant shall be completed under another contract. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, electrical power, lighting, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, shop drawings, working drawings and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the work. The CONTRACTOR shall obtain and pay for all required permits necessary for the work, other than those permits which may have already been obtained. The CONTRACTOR shall perform and complete the work in the manner best calculated to promote rapid construction consistent with safety of life and property and to the satisfaction of the Engineer, and in accordance with the Contract Documents. The CONTRACTOR shall clean up the work and maintain it during and after construction, until accepted, and shall do all work and pay all incidental costs. He shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the work. 2. The cost of incidental work described in these General Requirements, for which there is no specific Contract Item, shall be considered as part of the general cost of doing the work and shall be included in the prices for the various Contract Items. No additional payment will be made The work to be performed under these Contract Documents consists of the replacement of the PLC System in the City of Dunedin Wastewater Treatment Plant, inclusive of all equipment, materials and work required for operational systems that are complete and fully tested. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $800,039.18. The time allotted for this project is 600 days, for substantial completion. The Work may not be considered substantially complete unless the punch list items that remain, as identified by the Engineer and OWNER, can be completed within thirty (30) days Question Deadline 05/18/2024 at 2:00 PM ET change from 05/14/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All contractor Requests For Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening, to Chuck Ankney, CPPO, Purchasing Agent, at cankney@dunedinfl.net, prior to 2:00 p.m., local time. The City will not respond to RFI's submitted after that date.
