**As of January 29, 2024, project was awarded to Shamrock Restoration Services Inc., awarded amount is $858,548.90. ** The work generally consists of the following: Rehabilitation of the Chlorine Contact Chambers (CCC) at the City s Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 1140 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, in Dunedin. The project will consist of the removal of the existing coating, grout repairs to the existing surface, recoating the tanks, abilitation of two existing slide gates, and temporary bypass pumping. The time allotted for this project is 180 days for substantial completion. All contractor Requests For Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening, to Chuck Ankney, CPPO, Purchasing Agent, at cankney@dunedinfl.net, prior to 2:00 p.m., local time. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. The City will process the requests and respond within a timely manner. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashiers check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest.
