Site work for a water / sewer project in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of the following: The work involves the removal and replacement of approximately 575 feet of 6 underdrain and construct approximately 575 feet of parallel solid 8 PVC storm drainpipe, both connected to an existing storm drain manhole on Country Lane. Work also includes gutter replacement and storm pipe stub outs into several yards for hook-up by residents. The time allotted for this project is 60 days for substantial completion and 90 days for final completion. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidders name and address and be accepted by the Purchasing Office by the time and date specified above. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashier's check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest.
