Description: The Santa Clara Convention Center is soliciting proposers for a Roof Assessment Project. Phase I: Roof Assessment 1.1. Conduct a thorough examination of the Convention Center roof, including all roofing materials, drainage systems, insulation, flashing, and structural components. 1.2. Evaluate the current condition of the roof, identifying any visible damage, deterioration, or signs of wear and tear. 1.3. Determine the remaining useful life of the roof. 1.4. Assess compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, best practices, and safety regulations. 1.5. Evaluate the effectiveness of the existing drainage systems, ensuring proper water runoff and preventing ponding on the roof surface. 1.6. Provide recommendations for necessary repairs, maintenance, or roof replacement based on assessment findings. 1.7. Complete building assessment for damage to existing flooring, walls, and roof as a result of water leaks from the roof. 1.8. Perform hazardous assessment of existing building for lead and asbestos, as required by law. 1.9. Prepare abatement plan for lead and asbestos, as required by law. 1.10.
