The County is seeking a qualified Proposer to provide Construction, Engineering & Inspection (CEI) services for the new Beach Road at Midnight Pass Road roundabout. The County is requesting construction, engineering and inspection (CEI) services, including verification testing services which are required for inspection, materials sampling and testing for asphalt, concrete, earthwork, base installation, and pavement markings during construction of the new roundabout intersection of Beach Road and Midnight Pass Road ("Project"). The County reserves the right to review, reject, or accept any required policies of insurance, including limits, coverage, or endorsements, herein from time to time
throughout the term of this Contract. County reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review and reject any insurer providing coverage due to its poor financial condition or failure to operate legally. The County may unilaterally extend a Term Contract up to ninety (90) days beyond the expiration date of the existing contract. The unit prices in effect on the last day of the contract shall remain in effect for the contract extension period. The County anticipates awarding a CCNA Specific Project Agreement to run for the duration of the Project. This project includes FDOT grant funding. All applicable grant terms are included in online and shall control over any contract terms in the draft contract. Any inquiries, suggestions or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information pertaining to the solicitation shall be submitted electronically via online. All questions must be received no later than the deadline for questions specified in the solicitation. No verbal requests for information will be honored. All responses to inquiries will be posted in online. All offers submitted in response to this solicitation shall be retained by the County. Bids submitted cannot be viewed by anyone other than the Bidder until the official bid opening occurs. Submitted bids will be made public in accordance with Florida Public Record laws found in Ch. 119, F.S. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
