The project consists of providing and installing frameless glazing system on the 2nd floor. This bid will be awarded to one (1) contractor. Fox Valley Technical College is a public 2-year Technical College with its main campus and headquarters located in Appleton, Wisconsin and a student body of over 5,000 FTE (full time equivalent) students. It serves approximately 40,000 to 50,000 people annually. FVTC has two campuses (Appleton and Oshkosh), four regional centers (Chilton, Clintonville, Waupaca, and Wautoma) and eight training centers (four in Appleton, three in Oshkosh, and one in Gambrills, MD) covering a 5-county area (Calumet, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago) and parts of 4 other counties (Brown, Manitowoc, Portage, and Shawano). A. Provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools and equipment to complete project. B. Contractor is responsible for complying with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, codes and to obtain all permits required to perform this work. C. Contractor is responsible for coordinating all rough-in and final inspections needed. D. Unless stated otherwise, Contractor shall comply with FVTC Construction Specification Standards ("FVTC Standards"). E. General Contractor is responsible for final clean of construction and adjacent areas. If there is no General Contractor on the project, each contractor is responsible for final cleaning after their work is complete. F. Prior to the installation of any new or removed ceiling tile, the Contractor shall provide FVTC Facilities staff the opportunity to perform an above ceiling inspection. G. Where existing flooring is to remain, Contractor is responsible for protecting it from damage during the work. H. Contractor is responsible for verifying all dimensions.
