The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: Excavate spoil material from up to 72, 18 x 15 foot (< or = to 5 foot deep), sites along 4 miles of spoil bank within Roseau River WMA's Pool 2 with an amphibious excavator (or equivalent). Target condition consists of 18 foot wide level to gently sloping breaks in existing spoil banks facilitating the natural hydrologic flow from north to south with minimal wetland disturbance. Project site is within Roseau River Wildlife Management Area in Roseau County, MN. Excavate up to 72 breaks over 4 miles of spoil bank on the interior or a wetland on Roseau River WMA in Roseau County, MN. LOCATION OF WORK The location of the project is: Roseau River Wildlife Management Area. Roseau County; Sections 9,10,13,14,15, Township 163N, Range 43W, Unorganized Township. Located approximately 19 miles NW of Greenbush, MN Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project. Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State.
