This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Regina Exhibition Association Limited ("REAL") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Security Surveillance and Access Control System Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance and/or Inclusive Annual Maintenance Service as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). REAL seeks proposals in response to this RFP from an experienced company capable of completing the work associated with the Security Surveillance and Access Control System. REAL intends to enter into an agreement to service the existing assets for Security Surveillance and Access Control System. To accomplish this, REAL is seeking a vendor to provide maintenance and preventative maintenance resulting in an all-inclusive annual maintenance agreement. REAL is seeking a qualified Proponent to always cause and guarantee a level of operation of the system and devices at a 98% service level (24/7/365). REAL operates a networked Camera Surveillance System that connects approximately 350 video surveillance cameras throughout REAL District. These cameras and related surveillance devices travers the REAL network and connect to the Genetec Camera server and related QNAP storage subsystem. These devices connect via the network to a central monitoring location. Recordings are stored centrally. The system includes wired and wireless connectivity to devices, multiple operating and storage servers, and advanced Video Management Software (VMS) Software. Remote access to viewing and control of cameras Pan Tilt and Zoom functions is granted by the user's authorization levels.
The system network spans multiple locations across the REAL District including and it must be expandable to accommodate additional site locations including the Affinity Plex, Brandt Centre, The Cooperators Centre, Queensbury Convention Centre and Administration Building located at the REAL District.
