The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract to provide equipment, installation, maintenance, and repair services related to large commercial chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air handlers, etc. (HVAC) systems throughout Alpine School District (ASD). It is anticipated that this RFP will result in multiple contract awards. The methodology or formula that will be used to determine the number of contract awards is the number of vendors who exceed the minimum combined score threshold of 75 points. The award of the contract does not guarantee the use or purchase of awarded vendors' products or services. The conducting procurement unit may use at their discretion any of the awarded vendors for individual projects after making a best value determination for the project. This assessment can include but is not limited to budget, cost, individual school preference, district preference, and compatibility. The contract resulting from this RFP will be for FIVE (5) years.
