Purpose of this Solicitation The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor to complete the work described in this RFP related to the replacement of the walk-in fridge and freezer at Forbes Elementary School. Replacement of the walk-in fridge and freezer at Forbes Elementary Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of existing equipment. Provision and installation of new walk-in fridge, freezer and accessories. Contractor will hookup and start the condensing units on the roof of the building. This will require some related roofing work. The awarded contractor will be required to sub-contract related roofing work to one of the three existing Alpine School District roofing contracts to complete work. New boxes should match the existing boxes dimensions and include the following features: 404A refrigerant preferred No head master, fan cycling control preferred 3ph condensing units Left hinge doors White in / white out Floors and ramps New shelving Door to be centered to walkways Matching side closures The work to be done under this section includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment, including but not limited to any electrical, plumbing, refrigerant, core drilling, drains, heat tape, or other miscellaneous work required to provide a complete and functional facility. Completion Date: To be determined at walkthrough It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score justified by the procurement code.
