Stormwater Infrastructure Improvements project at Apalachicola Regional Airport . . Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked BID ENCLOSED: STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS APALACHICOLA REGIONAL AIRPORT . The project generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following tasks: Concrete pavement removal and replacement, stormwater structure repair, dewatering, removal and replacement of stormwater structures and pipes, excavation and embankment, and sodding. Questions relating to the Bid Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid must be submitted with the bid. The bid security may be either a certified check or a proposal guaranty bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bid security shall be made payable to the Franklin County. The successful bidder must be able to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond, and shall begin execution of this contract within five (5) calendar days following the date of the Notice to Proceed. Franklin County has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project. The DBE participation goal for this project is 6.96% and compliance requirements are listed in the bidding documents.
