The project also involves stormwater repair, sidewalk repair, striping and other safety improvements. the Completion Date for This Project Will Be 60 Days for Substantial Completion and 90 Days for Final Completion From the Date of the Notice to Proceed Presented to the Successful Bidder. Liquidated Damages for Failure to Complete the Project on the Specified Date Will Be Set at $500.00 Per Day. Please Indicate on the Envelope That This is a Sealed Bid, for the Leslie Street Resurfacing Scop. The City of Apalachicola Reserves the Right to Waive Informalities in Any Bid, to Accept and/or Reject Any or All Bids, and to Accept the Bid That in Their Judgment Will Be in Their Best Interest. Question Deadline 06/14/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to Josh Stephens at jstephens@dewberry.com All bidders shall be FDOT Qualified per Section 2-1 of the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition in the following work classes: Grading, Drainage, Flexible Paving, and Hot Plant MixBituminous Course.
