Services shall begin as weather permits, and no later than March 18 after award & upon execution of contract. The anticipated project completion date shall be April 22, 2024. Sealed bids will be opened and read by staff following the bid submission deadline. Agreement for Services: The contractor shall review and execute the "Independent Contractor Agreement for Services" contract prior to beginning work. This contract defines the project, the terms and services to be performed. This is a legal-binding document between the contractor and San Miguel County. The pertinent "Independent Contractor Agreement for Services" document is included in this packet. References may be requested. The undersigned, having familiarized himself/themselves with the local conditions and specifications affecting the cost of work, hereby proposes to furnish all the labor, materials, necessary tools, expendable equipment and all utility and transportation services necessary to perform the scope of work outlined in the 2024 Fairgrounds Perimeter Fencing Replacement Project: San Miguel County Fairgrounds & Regional Park Request for Proposal for San Miguel County, all in accordance with accepted standards and specifications, for the sums set forth in the following Bidding Schedule. If awarded this contract, the undersigned agrees to complete the work in accordance with the "Independent Contractor Agreement" for Services with San Miguel County.
