The City of Battle Creek will accept sealed bids for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Administration Building HVAC Improvements project. This project consists of furnishing and performing all work necessary for the demolition of existing pneumatic HVAC equipment and controls, as scheduled shown on the Drawings and specifications. BID BOND: Each bid must be accompanied by a standard form bid bond, made payable to the City of Battle Creek, in an amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the base bid submitted. The accepted bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor/materials payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and insurance certificate upon forms acceptable to the City. COMPLETION If awarded a contract under this Bid, the undersigned agrees to start work at the site March 18, 2024. The undersigned further agrees to complete the project by February 14, 2025. Liquidated damages of $750.00 per calendar day will be assessed for failure to meet any deadline, as noted in the Project Specifications.
