a. Pit #1 -NE 25 34 31 w1: 15,000 yards of 108 Modified crush. Does require a jaw. b. Pit #2 - NW 23 34 32 w1: 15,000 yards of 108 Modified crush and 2,000 yards of 1.5 ". New pit, requires stripping and set up, it may require use of a jaw. c. All amounts are approximate and dependent on availability of material in the pit. Adjustments may be made to have the total yardage (30,000) crushed throughout the pits. d. Units of measure shall be in yards and per hour only. e. The gravel shall be crushed to a Modified 108 specifications as per the below chart. Samples and proof of specifications is the crushers responsibility as well as re-crush if specifications are not met, all screens must be used and tested. Gravel Specs: f. Final payment will be based on the actual measured stockpile (by drone) BEFORE hauling commences. No allowance will be given for gravel compaction. This scaling map is the responsibility of the crusher and should be completed as soon as possible after the crush and included with the final bill. g. Prior to a Final Payment, a site meeting between the Municipality and Contractor may be required. h. Stripping will be the contractors responsibility, rates shall be included in the tender. Competition Type: Invitation to Tender Agreement Type: Not Applicable Preference may be given to a spring crush but crushing shall be completed by May 31 of each year. This tender and contract is for a 2 year term upon mutual agreement, with conditions to break the contract with 3 months written notice by either party.
