Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Cartersville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project will consist of providing all labor, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for furnishing and installing one (1) Peerless Pump horizontal split-case pump and motor; one (1) 8-inch angle pump control valve; and one (1) motor control center, in each of two existing, operational water pump stations, all with related piping, fittings, valves appurtenances, electrical work, painting, and incidentals, including hydrostatic testing, flushing, disinfection, start-up, and clean-up for a complete and operational third pump addition. The Two (2) pump additions will be for the Busch Drive Pump Station and the Cassville Road Pump Station. The Project will be funded by local funds. Payment for the Work will be made on the basis of Contractor's periodic Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. In accordance with O.C.G.A. 43-41-1, Bidders must submit a photocopy of their Georgia Utility Contractors License. Contractors shall comply with all provisions of the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act" (O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 and O.C.G.A. 50-36-1). The Successful Bidder must certify compliance with all applicable state and federal laws regarding maintaining a drug-free workplace. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the bid opening date, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If an award is made, the award will be made to the responsive and responsible Bidder having the lowest Total Bid.
