Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Newport, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a power facility.
Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so the following: haul, fill and compact fill material from pre-approved source, excavate for and install conduit and utility vaults, demolish and remove reinforced concrete foundations, construct reinforced concrete foundations, structural backfill and compaction around foundations, trenching and backfilling for install of grounding conductor by Central Lincoln, and placement and compact of substation grade aggregate. The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so
