Site work for a road / highway in Newport, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Contractor Shall Construct Access Roads and Structure Landings to 22 Structure Locations. Contractor Shall Remove and Replace 2 Poles on 2-69kv With Single-phase 12.5kv Underbuilt Wooden Transmission Structures. The Work on These 12.5kv Underbuilt Poles May Require the Contractor to Work Them Hot. Contractor Shall Install 20 Wooden 69kv Structures Consisting of Single, H-frame and 3-pole Construction. Contractor Shall Install Foundations and Poles for 6 Steel Pole Structures. Work Shall Also Include Installing 927 Acar Conductor and an Opgw Line. Structures Are Located in and Around Newport, Oregon. Workers Must Be Qualified to Work Within Nesc Supply Space. All Material Will Be Provided by Central Lincoln. In order for a bid to be accepted and considered for award of a contract, the submitted bids must comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) regulating contract work for people's utility districts. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so.
