Jacobus Borough 2024 Street Projects Sealed bids to resurface East Greenbriar Drive, along with profile milling and overlay with bituminous pavement wearing course, repairing five (5) inlet boxes, and replacing one (1) inlet box top. Question Deadline 01/31/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered. Direct inquiries concerning Bidding Documents and technical questions to Grant Anderson at (717) 757-9414 or ganderson@sitedc.com. The Jacobus Borough Council hereby authorizes Site Design Concepts, Inc. to act on its behalf by opening bids. Bids will be accepted, and contracts awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Jacobus Borough based on the recommendations of the Engineer. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Jacobus Borough in the amount of ten percent ( 10% ) of the maximum bid must be deposited by each bidder with his bid. The Jacobus Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
