The City of Mount Vernon is requesting Statements of Qualifications from interested and qualified Professional Materials Testing firms to provide on-call testing services for the calendar years 2024-2026.Materials Testing services may include compaction testing, soils/aggregate analysis, concrete inspection/testing, HMA testing and compaction, or other services as needed. The City intends to select the best qualified survey consultant by February 2024. Questions maybe addressed to Bill Bullock at (360) 336-6204. Selection of the best candidate(s) will be based upon a point rating system to evaluate the following items: background and experience with similar on call contracts; qualifications of personnel that will be assigned to this project; references of survey services provided to other jurisdictions; availability to begin work and work load capacity.
