Road maintenance in State Game land 211 Department/Agency: Game Commission Delivery Location: State Game Lands 211 The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for maintenance of a section of Railroad Grade Road and a section of Rattling Run Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #211. The scope of the project includes installing and replacing drainage pipes, placing road base material, stone surfacing and site stabilization. Any questions concerning completion of an electronic bid should be directed to the PGC Procurements Division at 717- 787-6594. Bidders should visit the site to ascertain the pertinent conditions such as existing road surface conditions, drainage patterns and other working conditions. The gate at the west end of the road is locked. Permission is not required to visit the site; however, we recommend contacting Mr. Clark for status of road conditions before going to the site. Attached to the project listing in electronic format are Terms and Conditions of Project, Conditions for Construction Contracts and Technical Specifications (Sections 1 through 12). Four drawings titled "Railroad Grade & Rattling Run Roads Project)" are also attached. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order. All vendors who conduct business with the Pennsylvania Game Commission must have a Vendor No. assigned to them in order to receive payment from the Commonwealth.
