2024 THREE-YEAR CUSTODIAL SERVICES CONTRACTVILLAGE OF BLOOMINGDALE, ILLINOIS DESCRIPTION OF WORK The proposed improvement is officially known as the "2024Three-Year Custodial Services Contract" which consists of,but is not limited to, custodial services at the Village Hall,Police Department, Public Works and Water ReclamationFacility. All proposals must be accompanied by a bank cashier'scheck, bank draft, certified check or bidder's bond, madepayable to the Treasurer of the Village of Bloomingdale,for not less than five (5) percent of the total bid. The bid security shall be forfeited if the bidder fails, or refuses to enter into contract after his proposal is accepted. The Contractor shall provide at least three (3) current andthree (3) past references. The successful Contractor shall be required to furnish aPerformance Bond acceptable to the Village in an amountequal to fifty percent (50%) of the price bid for services forthe term of the Contract (sample bond provided). The Performance Bond shall guarantee the performance of theContractor and payment of all Contractors' obligationsunder the terms and conditions of the specifications. ThePerformance Bond shall be provided by a surety companyacceptable to the Village and rated at least 5A by Best'sRating Guide. The bid security shall be forfeited if the bidder fails, or refuses to enter into a contract, within 10 daysof the award. The President and Board of Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities, irregularities and technicalities when awardingthe contract for the work.
