2024 Asphalt Materials for Purchase and the Incidental Disposal of Asphalt Spoils. The Village of Bloomingdale is exempt from the Illinois State Municipal or County Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Revised Statute Chapter 120. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. BID SECURITY All proposals must be accompanied by a bank cashier's check, bank draft, certified check or bidder's bond, made payable to the Treasurer of the Village of Bloomingdale, for not less than five percent (5%) of the Contract cost. The bid security shall be forfeited if the bidder fails, or refuses to enter into Contract after their proposal is accepted. REJECTION OF BIDS The President and Board of Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all technicalities.
