Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Salt River Township, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Construction of a 75 foot, 5-span steel wide flange beam bridge on existing abutments and piers, approach roadway work, spillway repair work, and any incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is located on Golf Course Drive, in Section 20, Township 57 N, Range 10 West, City of Shelbina in Shelby County, Missouri, over Shelbina Lake. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The City of Shelbina reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 4%.
