The City of Pigeon Forge is receiving bids on Duggan Street Sewer Line Installation for the Public Works Department. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid most favorable to the City. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: 1. Knoxville Builders Exchange - 300 Clark Street, Knoxville, Tennessee 37921, (865) 525-0443; Prospective Bidders must obtain the contract documents directly from LDA Engineering (bgossett@ldainc.com) to be considered an official bidder and submit a bid on the project. This work in general consists of construction of the following, but not limited to: 1. Installation of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 8-inch sewer line and related appurtenances 2. Installation of 8 manhole structures. A) Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of Pigeon Forge, 3211 Rena Street, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee 37868. B) Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must include, attached to the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid, the completed Bid Envelope Cover Sheet. If the cover sheet is not attached to the envelope, the Bid will not be opened. C) Bids will be received and opened at 3221 Rena Street, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee 37868. The scope of Work for these items shall include: 1. Installation of all New Gravity Sewer Lines. 2. Covering and surface restoration of the New Gravity Sewer Lines as required. The work covered by this Contract comprises the installation of new manholes and new gravity sewer for the City of Pigeon Forge. Work includes, but may not be limited to, the following major components: The work in general consists of the following: 1. Installation of approximately 2,100 linear feet of new 8-inch gravity sewers. 2. Installation of approximately 8 new 4-foot diameter manholes. 3. Bypass pumping, related service connections and appurtenances to the main project, erosion control, and miscellaneous pavement replacement.
