The work involves removal of existing generator - replacement with new natural gas-fired generator and associated gas piping and electrical work. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond - certified check - cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Lewiston as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
