This project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of the existing cedar shake shingles and ridge vent, painting the wood soffits and fascia, new gutters, flashing at the chimney, wood trim replacement at the dormer, and restoring wood trim and accent railings and both the North, West, and South porches, all in compliance with historical preservation practices and methods. Work will include architectural work. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to the Design Professional. Bids will be received for a single General Construction Contract. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award.
