Work Location:Virginia Department of Transportation, Richmond District Office - Joint Safety Operations Center located at 2400 Pine Forest Drive, South Chesterfield, VA 23834. IFB for Proj. Code 501-B3501-014 for the new Richmond District JSOC Building installation of stepdown transformer equipment. Converted Solicitation Reference #:IFB-A501-0000158603-1 The project is generally described as existing HVAC/electrical equipment that may occur damage when phased voltage fluctuations approach the maximum design limits. An installed stepdown transformer and other related equipment may protect this equipment. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are requested, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.) The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
