Site work and paving for a civil project in Tiffin, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
SEN 2024 LPA Guardrail Installation Project. The project involves the installation of Upgraded guardrail, including Type MGS guardrail, Type 5 Bridge rail with tubular backup and Type 4 Bridge terminal assemblies with Type E or Type T anchor assemblies at several existing bridge locations in Seneca County. A 5% DBE goal has been assigned to this project. All bidders shall submit a DBE utilization plan electronically using Formstack prior to the bid opening. Any bids received without electronic submission of the DBE utilization plan will be deemed unresponsive. All proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished in the contract documents. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond (Performance and Payment Bond) in the full amount of the contractor s bid payable to the Seneca County Commissioners and Ohio Department of Transportation. The prime contractor must perform no less than 30 percent of the total original contract price. The funding source for this project is federal funds. Therefore, Davis Bacon wage rates are required. Date set for project completion: June 27, 2024. The Seneca County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities and to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
