North side Substation Voltage Regulator Purchase Bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Northside Substation Voltage Regulator Purchase" must contain the full names and addresses of all persons and/or firms interested in same; and must be Certified or Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%), Made Payable to the City of Shelby, as a Guarantee That, if Said Bid is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into and Its Performance Properly Secured. The Director of Public Service will entertain no bid from any person or firm in default to the City and reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any irregularity. No contract shall be let in which the bid is 10% above the estimate.
