Since 1987, the Waterbury Water Treatment Plant laboratory has been running 24/7. All water collected from various locations in the plant is sent to the laboratory for analysis. The laboratory conducts physical water quality analysis twice daily to ensure the downstream acquiescent water. The physical samples tested include pH, turbidity, hardness, and chemical dosage concentration of fluoride, chloride, phosphor, aluminum, sulfate, and hydrated lime are also monitored for accuracy by the laboratory multiple times daily. Eligible proposers will be those consultants, businesses, and institutions that have the following qualifications: 1. Experience and expertise in regard to providing the types of or similar services as those outlined in the Scope of Services in this RFP 2. A proposer with a proven track record in providing these types of or similar services for municipal governments. 3. Knowledge of federal and State laws and regulations governing the services outlined in the scope of services. 4. List the name, address, e-mail, and telephone number of references from at least three (3) Laboratory projects similar services were provided as described in this RFP. Include a brief description of the work provided for each reference. The references should include the date(s) the services were provided. 5. Provide a brief description of the proposed work program and techniques to complete the scope of services. The work program should demonstrate your company ability to conduct these services in a professional and efficient manner.
