As of March 7, 2024 project was awarded to Audio Communications Consultants Inc., awarded amount is $235,872.01. Collierville Schools will receive bids to Provide and Install Audio Visual Equipment as per the specifications and scope of work at Collierville Schools Central Office Relocation, 215 W. Poplar Avenue, Collierville, Tennessee 38017. Bids received after the specified date and time will be considered late and will not be opened. 1. The Contractor shall deliver, erect, connect, and furnish all Material, Appliances, and furnishings as detailed herein. 2. The Contractor shall complete assembly of all equipment in the System and perform all necessary wiring to effect complete interconnection of the components in the system. 3. The Contractor shall provide all incidental material, appliances, Tools, etc., required to complete the sound reinforcement system whether or not they are specifically enumerated herein. 4. The Contractor shall also perform all tests and calibrations necessary in order to show that the installed system is in proper and complete working order as specified herein. Collierville Schools reserves the right to assess liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per day (after required completion date) until the is completed and accepted by Collierville Schools. Collierville Schools reserves the right to require a Performance, Materials and Labor Bond from the successful vendor. If a notarized Performance, Materials and Labor Bond is required by the Owner, the notarized Performance, Materials and Labor Bond must be from an insurance company licensed in the State of Tennessee for 100% of the contract amount awarded. The document cost for the Performance, Materials and Labor Bond will be reimbursed to the successful vendor. The expected completion date of the Central Office is May 2024. Available work hours will be based on the Construction Manager's work hours. Delivery and/or storage of equipment and supplies prior to the start date will not be accepted. Collierville Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive defects or informalities in bids and to make awards as deemed to be in its best interest. If awarded, awards will be made to the lowest and best vendor. CONTROL SYSTEM 1. Board Room (110) o The control system in the Board Room is to facilitate audio and video switching from the touch screen monitor connected to the PC via QSYS control. The basis of design is the following: The monitors and displays are to be turned on and off. o The Board Member microphone levels adjustable with on and off feature. o The projector is to be turned on and off. o The projection screen is to be raised and lowered. o The video input plates are to be matrixed with a GUI on the control touch screen. o The cameras are to be controlled by PTZ as well as a preview window on the control system touch screen for each camera. o Media player control and transport functions. o Full matrix of audio and video to have GUI control on control system touch screen. o The touch panel on the south wall will be for easy system control and presets to operate a wireless microphone from a makeshift huddle space utilizing the south or north wall displays. 2. Board Member Conference Room (103) o The control system in the Board Member Conference Room is to facilitate audio and video switching from the touch screen via QSYS control. The basis of design is the following: o The displays is to be turned on and off. o The system volume is to be controlled. o The video inputs and outputs are to be matrixed with a GUI on the control touch screen. 3. Background Music System and Lobby o The control system in the Lobby is to facilitate audio level from background music system/source (by owner). o The display is to be turned on and off. o Apple TV menu and transport functions shall be controlled.
