Reference Number 0000339274 Job Location: Speedway Blvd, Dacono, CO Question Acceptance Deadline 02/02/2024 12:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No The City of Dacono wishes to construct an asphalt surface on Speedway Blvd. In late 2023, the City milled the failing asphalt surface in place. The millings were graded and compacted in place. The City is seeking bids to overlay the existing aggregate surface with a 5-inch Asphalt Mat. This is a 1-mile long, 24-foot wide rural local road with no curb & gutter. All work shall be incidental to the Asphalt Item. Tack coat will be applied to existing aggregate surface prior to laying asphalt pavement. Two lifts of Asphalt will be installed. Both lifts will consist of S (3/4) Mix. Traffic Control - allowed to close entire roadway. Access to Colorado National Speedway for essential personnel is required. No Thru Traffic. Some grading work will be required at the East & West ends to tie into existing asphalt pavement. The tie-ins will be keyed into the existing pavement with 2-feet of 2-inch mill & overlay. Minor shoulder grading will be required to minimize drop off from asphalt surface to shoulder. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required
