The project will be completed in three phases over three years. Project Scope: The Slurry Seal Project encompasses the following neighborhoods: Downtown Glen Creighton Drive Sharpe Farms Legacy Park Eagle Meadow Sweetgrass Parkway This project will primarily involve slurry seal. Project Phases and Timeline The project will be completed in the following phases: Phase 1 (2025): Budget not to exceed $200,000 Phase 2 (2026): Budget not to exceed $350,000 Phase 3 (2027): Budget not to exceed $350,000 The placement of neighborhoods in each phase will be determined based on bid results. A final schedule and neighborhood assignments will be included in the contract documents. The City of Dacono reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or technicalities, and award contracts deemed to be in the best interest of the city. Contractor shall perform all of the Work set forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference (the "Work"). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, material, supplies, environmental protection, no parks, raised markers, signage, traffic control, secondary sweeping, and other incidentals necessary to provide an application of polymerized emulsified asphalt, cover coat aggregate, followed by a polymerized Slurry Seal to an existing roadway surface. This two-step process is called Cape Seal. Contractor shall furnish, except as may otherwise be provided in writing, all labor, services, materials, tools, and equipment for the construction and completion of the Work proposed to be done under this Contract. Contractor will construct and complete the Work in a thorough and workmanlike manner in every respect to the satisfaction and approval of the City, within the time specified herein and in strict accordance with the contract documents, including without limitation the following documents: this Contract and any Exhibits and Addenda; any modifications, change orders, field orders, or other similar revisions properly authorized after the execution of this Contract; Contractor's bid; and any Amendments to this Contract executed by the Parties pursuant to Section 34 for work to be performed by Contractor in future years. All of the said documents are hereby made a part of this Contract and form the contract documents as fully as if the same were set forth at length herein.
