Site work and paving for a road / highway in Eden, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of March 11,2024, project was awarded to Waugh Asphalt, awarded amount is $446,881.52. The scope of work consists of the repair and resurfacing of 12 street sections with a total of 9,663 linear feet or 1.830 miles. The resurfacing is to include the adjustment of 30 water and sewer structures; 10,086 square yards of Asphalt Pavement Milling at a depth of 0 to 1.50 inches; 3131 square yards of Asphalt Pavement Milling at a depth of 0 to 2.5 inches; 2282 tons of Asphalt Concrete Surface Course (Type NC S9.5C Virgin Mix) at a depth of 1.50 inches; and 109 tons of Incidental Stone for Shoulder Reconstruction. Each Bid shall contain the name of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and shall be accompanied by a deposit of cash, or a cashier's check, or a certified check on the bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to five (5%) of the Bid. The liquidated damages for this contract are Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.00) per calendar day. The completion date for this contract is Friday, June 14, 2024 The date of availability for the contract is Monday, April 1, 2024 The City of Eden, North Carolina reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in bidding.
