Major elements of work for the project include, but are not limited to, preparing, and providing the design, fabrication, and delivery of one (1) pre-engineered metal T-hangar building, including hangar building concrete slab and foundation design and all materials needed for the erection of the new T-hangar. This project also includes erection/construction of the new T-Hangar building and all related site improvements as shown on the project Drawings. The Bidder must agree that the requirements and conditions of employment be observed and minimum wage rates, as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor, or the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, including any appropriate amendments. The contractor shall pay the state or federal prevailing wage rate, whichever is higher, and adhere to the most stringent requirements under this contract. No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the City of Hermiston unless the Bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS Chapter 701 or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board as required by ORS 671.530. Contractors must be qualified in accordance with ORS 279 and other applicable sections of the Oregon Revised Statutes in order to enter into a Contract with the Owner for public work in Oregon.
