The intent of these specifications is for the City of Spencer to obtain a WV licensed and insured contractor to replace the lower roof area of the Spencer Armory. Scope This work Shall consist of providing all tools , materials, equipment and labor necessary to furnish, deliver, construct, install and render fully operational an adhered single-ply membrane roofing system in conjunction with insulation over the concrete roof deck. This work shall also include roof insulation, roof accessories, flashings for equipment bases, pipe penetrations, and perimeters and all miscellaneous items required for a complete installation. This work shall also include furnishing and installing all miscellaneous and ancillary items in connection with roofing system work necessary to provide a complete installation, which are not specifically called for elsewhere herein. Remove existing ballast and store on site for the city. o Remove existing EPDM roof membrane and insulation to expose concrete roof deck. o Adhere .060 EPDM membrane over insulation. o Properly flash and seal all penetrations to manufacturers specifications. o Furnish and install new 3' x 2'6" roof hatch. o Remove and dispose of all debris generated by your work. o Furnish at the minimum a 20 year manufacture's warranty. City of Spencer 116 Court Street Spencer WV 25276 The intent of these specifications is for the City of Spencer to obtain bids for the replacement of the low roof section of the "old armory" building the City owns. o Fabricate and install .040 mill finished aluminum gravel stop edge metal. Lower fascia metal to remain. o Fabricate and install .040 mill finished aluminum apron gutter and 3" x 4" corrugated aluminum downspout and eaves. o Adhere 1 1/2' minimum thick, 1/8" per foot tapered insulation over entire roof area to reduce ponding of water.
