The City of Thornton is requesting Qualifications for Contractors interested in bidding the construction services associated with this project. The project scope includes the following: The Project will replace and construct a new retaining wall on the north side of the Justice center, subsurface improvements to the entrance way Plaza, and drainage pipe extending to the existing Civic Center detention pond. Project Description: The Project is to mitigate issues related to expansive foundation materials along the east elevation of the Thornton Justice Center. The Work generally includes removal and replacement of asphalt pavement and concrete flatwork, excavation of existing subgrade and installation of a geomembrane liner and drainage systems, replacement of a mechanically stabilized earth wall and extensive decorative concrete and hardscape work.
