Site work and new construction of a power facility in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility; and for site work for a power facility.
These specifications cover the design of the structures, equipment and materials required to provide a 69 to 25 kV step-down substation to operate as a part of the electrical system of the Purchaser. The substation will be designed for an ultimate 50 MVA capacity at 15 kV with two transformers operating at 25 MVA each. The Materialman should include in his quotation all materials required to provide the specified substation. Power transformers, circuit breakers, subgrade grounding materials, control house, cable trench, batteries and relays will be provided by others. This schedule includes all other materials and equipment required. The substation shall consist of standardized outdoor equipment completely coordinated as to design, operation and appearance for the control of the circuits as indicated in these Specifications and as shown in the Drawings.
