Saving Project...

Site work for a mixed-use development in North East, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.

The project will consist of the construction of the following: The Rising Sun High School waterline replacement project is a removal of corroded galvanized steel domestic water piping with replacement of copper piping. The project includes the demolition of the existing galvanized piping from the water vault into the mechanical room and adjacent classroom to be replaced with copper piping. A portion of the new piping will be routed below grade from the water vault and back into the building. Questions regarding this bid may be sent and received by e-mail only by Noon, February 22, 2024, to Kay Porter, Purchasing Agent, Purchasing Department, Cecil County Public Schools at procurement@ccps.org. a 5 percent Bid Bond, Anti-Bribery Affidavit, Certification Regarding Debarment, NonCollusion Affidavit, and Contractor's Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305) must accompany all bids. A 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond payable to the Owner and certification of appropriate insurance coverage will be required of the successful Bidder. The project shall be completed, including commissioning and training, and the school is to be fully functional by August 16, 2024.
