**As of February 15, 2024 the award contractor is CH Construction and the award amount is $39,838.12.** This project is being rebid to update the scope of work to include Add/Alternate Bid items. This project includes the following Base Bid items: (1) Remove and replace the front porch to include 6x6 wood posts on Sono tube foundations; Install new wood porch framing and composite decking; Install new concrete sidewalk; Remove and replace existing roof shingles and underlayment and remove and reinstall existing gutters. (1) Remove and install new Basement & Garage Windows (total of 6); (2) Install PVC Railing on lower left side exterior stairs; (3) Investigate water line leak in basement bathroom and determine repair. The Scope of work in the bid packet will provide additional details. The Successful Bidder shall be required to provide a lead base paint training certification, be a registered home improvement contractor with the Attorney General's Office, and have the required insurance information. The Redevelopment Authority requires the successful Contractor to provide either a 10% Performance Bond, 10% Letter of Credit from a bank or 10% Business Check based on the amount of the awarded bid amount. This bid guarantee will be returned upon completion of the project. Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid on this job for all bids over $25,000 The McKean County Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the Bid Opening.
