All landscape areas will need the complete removal of old mulch. Mulch that is removed can be deposited at the city's compost site. All landscape areas are to be treated with weed preventative before the installation of the new mulch or as recommended by the product instructions. All areas are to be cleaned and free of debris from the placement of mulch, there should be no mulch on top of the curb, or in the gutter pans. Please bid placement of mulch per cubic yard as the amount of cubic yards of material will dictate the final cost of application. Any questions please call or email Tom Pollock at 616-835-1210 tpollock@greenvillemi.org The Greenville City Council may approve the bids at their March 5, 2024, meeting, and removal and placement of the materials can begin April 29th, 2024, weather permitting. All work is to be completed before May 24th, 2024. The city of Greenville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The competency and responsibility of bidders will be considered in awarding contracts. The owner does not oblige himself to accept the lowest or any other bid. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality in any or all bids. The City of Greenville reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities of bid items without additional compensation.
