Description

Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Cerritos, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The work or improvement to be performed generally consists of providing all labor, tools and equipment necessary to complete the project per plans, specifications and contract documents, including but not limited to, removal and recycling of existing carpet materials; preparation of concrete substrate to receive moisture barrier; installation of a concrete moisture vapor barrier; installation of carpet material (to be supplied by the City); and other items identified in the bid schedule. City will supply all carpet material, carpet adhesive, vinyl transition strips, and moisture barrier product. All work to be completed prior to April 26, 2024 Reference Liquidated Damages section of RFP packet for fees associated with project delays. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or portions thereof, or to waive any informality or irregularity in a bid to the extent allowed by law. Any requests for information regarding opened bids shall be directed to the Office of the City Clerk via a formal Public Records Act request.
