Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cerritos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Project Description: The work or improvement to be performed generally consists of cold milling 3" of existing asphalt concrete (AC); removing and reconstructing AC structural section (4" AC on 8" CMB); and the construction of a 3" AC surface. Additional improvements also include the removal & replacement of deficient concrete curbs & gutters; sidewalk panels, driveways, and wheelchair access ramps; adjustment of utilities to grade; removal of parkway trees; planting trees; installation of traffic signal loops; re-striping of lane lines, arrows, and stop bars; and/or the installation of fiber conduit along the following streets: 183rd Street from Carmenita Road (not including the intersection) to Marquardt Avenue (including the intersection), Marquardt Avenue from 183rd Street to Artesia Boulevard (including the intersection), 166th Street from Norwalk Boulevard (not including the intersection) to Bloomfield Avenue (not including the intersection), and Auto Square Drive. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or portions thereof, or to waive any informality or irregularity in a bid to the extent allowed by law
