Site work for a mixed-use development in Avon Lake, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The project encompasses the complete removal of sand within the Miller Road Park Boat Ramp Basin, to be disposed of per Army Corps permit. The bidder shall provide all labor, material and equipment needed. All work must be complete by April 12, 2024, or by such date granted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Quantities will be supplied prior to work commencing. Bids must be submitted on the form supplied in the Specifications and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Bond in the amount of 100% of the amount of the bid with satisfactory corporate surety, or by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and material, and guarantee bonds in the amounts stated in the specifications All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governors Executive Order of 1972, and Governors Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, but no bidder shall withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual bid opening.
